Rabbit Hutches: What Are Your Best Options?

If you are new to rabbit care, specifically how to house your rabbit, don’t fret! We are here to give you a quick rundown on the different options you have to keep your rabbit happy and safe so you can figure out which is best for your little bun. Remember the bigger the space that you can give your rabbit the better! Rabbits need to have space to roam around, play and have access to the essentials that need to be in their cage, rabbit hutch, etc.  

Rabbit Cages

A rabbit cage, sometimes called an indoor rabbit hutch, is normally made of wire and is commonly what is used when you want your pet rabbit inside. The minimum should be at least 12 sq. ft. There should be plenty of space for basic rabbit care needs which include food and water bowl, litter box, a place for her to sleep and space for her to freely hop around. The height of the cage should no shorter than the height of your rabbit when she reaches up on her hind legs.
